What makes a check slower​

  • Images take longer than text.
  • Longer text and larger policy sets take longer.
  • showReason: true can make a check slower.

Rate limit​

Each project has a limit on requests per minute. Past it, calls fail with "Too many requests for this project. Try again in Ns." Wait that long, then retry.

Tips​

  • Set timeoutMs to what your product can wait. The default is 120 seconds.
  • Run checks in parallel with the rest of your work.
  • When you load test, measure p95 and p99 latency, not just the average, and remember that test checks use real credit.
